Blur will release their August 2012 Hyde Park gig on CD and DVD later this year.

Entitled ‘Parklive‘, the package will feature the entire concert on CD and DVD, while an audio recording of the band’s show at London’s 100 Club and a disc of other live tracks recorded at various stages over the summer, are also included.

Blur’s Hyde Park appearance this summer was arranged to celebrate the end of the London Olympic Games, and for some time looked set to be the group’s last live commitments for the foreseeable future with the four bandmates unanimous in the belief that they had no firm plans after the concert.

However, European festival appearances have now been confirmed for next year, while newspaper rumours claim various UK festivals are looking to secure Blur for their own 2013 line-ups.
