Band Of Skulls have unveiled the video for their new single ‘You’re Not Pretty But You Got It Goin’ On‘, which can be viewed via YouTube below.
The track is the fourth to be taken from the Southampton trio’s second album ‘Sweet Sour‘; an LP which both builds and expands on the infectious blues romp of their debut ‘Baby Darling Doll Face Honey‘.
“The old school notion of a ‘radio rock record’ has become a steadily disintegrating concept in today’s era of digital downloads and lo-fi laptop recordings, and it’s unfortunate because that is exactly what Band Of Skulls have created here: a polished and accessible second offering from a group that made a point to rise to an occasion they could have just as easily shrank away from,” Live4ever said in our review.
Meanwhile, Band Of Skulls will head out on a UK tour later this year, beginning at the Glasgow ABC on November 27th. Continuing into December, the tour will later end with a hometown gig at the Southampton Guildhall on the 9th of that month.
