The Vaccines have aired their take of Taylor Swift‘s recent single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together‘ as part of the latest BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session, which often includes artists performing unusual covers for the station.
The Vaccines were playing at Maida Vale in the week of the release of their second studio album ‘The Vaccines Come Of Age‘ and performed the cover, which can be heard via YouTube below, along with a selection of their own new tracks.
The Vaccines made ‘…Come Of Age‘ – which has been preceded by the singles ‘No Hope‘ and ‘Teenage Icon‘ – available to preview in full on the Guardian’s website earlier this week. The record is due to be supported with a November UK tour which will kick-off at the Plymouth Pavilions on the 15th and continue for the remainder of the month. Support will be provided by Fucked Up, DIIV, Deap Vally and Pale.
