Other Lives will follow-up the 2011 album ‘Tamer Animals‘ with a new EP which is due next month.

Mind The Gap‘ will be available from October 23rd, and is set to comprise songs recorded during the past few months in Oxfordshire, as well as remixes of both new and old tracks, one of which will be provided by long-term fan of the band Thom Yorke. The new track ‘Take Us Alive‘ can be heard via YouTube below.

‘Tamer Animals’ would go on to feature prominently in Live4ever’s end of year retrospective last December. “In many ways, the album presents another take on Fleet Foxes’ spirit of restless wandering, so beautifully captured on ‘Helplessness Blues‘,” our review reads.

“There’s a similar timeless quality to these songs, but the mood is somehow darker, bolder. Where the Foxes charmed us with hooks and harmonies, Other Lives take the longer, less travelled road. We’re rewarded with stark, eastern-tinged strings and haunting, faintly operatic passages.”
