Neil Young & Crazy Horse will release their first album of entirely new material since 2003 next month, the band have confirmed.
‘Psychedelic Pill‘ is due for release on October 30th, and follows the ‘Americana‘ LP which was issued earlier this year and comprised new re-workings and arrangements of classic folk and traditional American standards. The latest album will be available on double CD, with a triple vinyl edition also due on November 23rd.
The record was produced by Neil Young along with John Hanlon and Mark Humphreys, and was recorded immediately after the ‘Americana’ sessions had been completed. As with ‘Americana’, full length promotional videos are planned to be recorded for each of ‘Psychedelic Pill’s tracks.
