Interpol’s Paul Banks announces solo European tour

Interpol‘s Paul Banks will show off his ‘Banks‘ solo album with a European tour early next year, which is to open up with a series of Irish and UK dates.

A gig at the Dublin Academy on January 20th 2013 launches the tour, with dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London then completing a short trek of the UK. Shows in mainland Europe which are due to continue on into February will begin in Brussels on January 25th.

‘Banks’ is due for release on October 22nd through Matador Records, and follows the previous 2012 EP ‘Julian Plenti Lives…‘ and the 2009 debut solo record ‘Julian Plenti is… Skyscraper‘.
