Huey Morgan has unveiled the finer points of his debut solo album, which will be available from next month.

The Fun Lovin’ Criminals frontman, who in recent times has also carved out a successful career for himself on BBC radio, will release ‘Say It To My Face‘ on October 29th.

The record sees Morgan joining forces with the Tangiers Blues Band, who count Blind Boys member Pete Levin and Chris Scianni amongst their number. It has been co-produced by Morgan together with his Fun Lovin Criminals cohort Tim Latham.

“The kids will find something in it, I know that because a lot of kids listen to my radio shows,” Morgan has said of the LP. “But my music is for people my age. And I tried to stay away from everything that’s normal. Because normal is not me.”

Tracks reported to be due for inclusion on ‘Say It To My Face’ include ‘Stick It To The Man‘, ‘Fall Into Me‘, ‘Dirty Bird‘ and ‘New York Bluez‘.
