Florence & The Machine have extended their upcoming tour of UK and Irish arenas, which went onsale today (September 13th).
The winter tour was originally due to visit London’s O2 arena for a sole gig on December 5th, but will now stay on for a second night at the venue a day later.
Beginning at the Exeter Westpoint Arena on December 4th, the UK leg also includes concerts in Coventry, Aberdeen and Liverpool, with the sole Irish date later arriving on December 12th at the Dublin O2 Arena.
The tour rounds off a successful twelve months for Florence Welch and co., who have enjoyed a second consecutive UK number one album with their 2012 LP ‘Ceremonials‘. In addition, the record’s most recent single, ‘Spectrum‘, topped the UK Singles Chart earlier this summer - a first for the band.
