Two Door Cinema Club have announced a large scale tour of the UK for 2013 which will support their new album ‘Beacon‘, due for release on September 3rd this year.
The tour will be launched at the Newcastle Academy on January 24th, and includes two dates in Scotland in Aberdeen and Glasgow on February 4th and 5th respectively. A gig at the Brixton Academy will close proceedings on February 8th.
In addition, the Northern Irish band will head out on a shorter run of UK shows next month, beginning a three-date jaunt the day after ‘Beacon’s release at Birmingham’s HMV Institute. Gigs at the Manchester Sound Control (5th) and the Shepherds Bush Empire (6th) conclude the British run, with a further concert at Dublin’s Academy venue on the 7th also due.
