Tribes have made a re-recorded version of ‘Coming Of Age‘ available as a free download from their official Facebook page.
The track pre-dates ‘Baby‘, but was ultimately not included on the London’s band’s debut album after being the title track of an EP issued back in April 2011.
The release comes as Tribes continue work on their second record in Los Angeles’ famous Sound City studios – currently the subject of a new documentary being produced by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
“We started writing it about two months ago,” frontman Johnny Lloyd told NME of the new LP back in March. “We’ve done a load of demos for it. I reckon we’d like to try and get it out in early 2013.”
“It’s probably a little more rootsy than the last one, it’s taken in more influences – not necessarily what we grew up on, but what we experienced in the past year. There’s a bit more rock’n’roll in it, I think.”
