Kasabian cover The Beatles during Reading Festival headline gig

Kasabian included a short cover of The Beatles‘ classic single ‘She Loves You‘ during their performance at the Reading Festival last night (August 25th).

The Leicester band were headlining the twin Reading/Leeds events for the first time in their career, and treated fans to the brief version of the Fab Four’s 1963 track immediately before the set’s closing song ‘Fire‘. Meanwhile, The Cure performed another mammoth set in Leeds following their 2-hour-plus gig in Reading on Friday.

Tonight, the Foo Fighters will close out Reading with the likes of The Black Keys and the Kaiser Chiefs also due up on the Main Stage, while Kasabian are now travelling north today to bring the curtain down on the Leeds leg.
