Bloc Party‘s comeback record ‘Four‘ has missed out on the UK Album Chart’s top spot this week, with Emeli Sande‘s ‘Our Version Of Events‘ instead remaining at number one.

With early midweek figures placing the LP at the summit, Bloc Party arranged a celebratory free gig in London on August 22nd, but the album has ultimately failed to maintain the initial momentum, and has officially debuted at #3, with Paloma Faith and her record ‘Fall To Grace‘ also outselling the London band.

Elsewhere, Noel Gallagher is back in the top 20 after a successful run of festival gigs this summer, with the debut solo LP ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ standing at #16 this week.
