Kasabian: ‘Fire’ would’ve been perfect for London Olympics’ closing ceremony

While there were plenty of British bands present and correct at the London Olympics’ closing ceremony last night (August 12th), one band not in attendance was Kasabian, and the band’s guitarist Serge Pizzorno has said he believes that was a mistake on the part of Danny Boyle.

Rihanna has lowest selling UK number one album ‘in recorded history’

Popstar Rihanna claimed the number one spot on the UK Album Chart yesterday (August 12th) with the lowest amount of sales since Millward Brown began collecting data for the Official Charts Company in 1994, reports Music Week.
