Video: Slipknot’s Corey Taylor collapses onstage

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor caused a stir last night (July 12th) after collapsing onstage during a gig in Dallas. Footage of the incident can be viewed below.

Taylor was performing with Slipknot at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas as part of the Rockstar Mayhem festival, when he was suddenly rushed backstage by security after fainting.

However, with concerns over his health being raised, Taylor took to Twitter this morning to re-assure fans, revealing he was merely suffering from heat exhaustion and did not require hospital treatment.

“Hello everyone,” he wrote. “I’m fine – just overheated in Dallas last night. Ready and waiting for Houston! Thank you to everyone for your concerns!”

Slipknot will release their Best Of compilation ‘Antennas To Hell‘ on July 23rd, and will also host two events in August at the Mid America Motorplex in Council Bluffs, Iowa and at the Somerset Amphitheater. The latter, which will be held on August 18th, is set to be streamed live via pay-per-view on TODOCAST and Synergy Global Entertainment.
