The Stone Roses will play the first UK festival of their 2012 reunion tour tonight (July 7th) at T In The Park.
The reformed Manchester band completed a trio of outdoor homecoming gigs at Heaton Park last weekend, and are now set for a series of European festival appearances over the course of the summer. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will play immediately before the Roses on the Main Stage, while the likes of The Vaccines and Emeli Sande are also due for performances today.
After initial gloomy weather predictions for the Scottish event, latest forecasts have improved slightly, with Sunday now expected to be largely dry, although festival-goers are still braced for significant rain fall for most of today.
Snow Patrol topped the bill on the Main Stage last night, while Kasabian are set to close this year’s festival tomorrow. Elbow, Bombay Bicycle Club and Twin Atlantic will also make appearances during the final day.Just Published:
