‘Velvet Underground & Nico’ set for re-release to mark 45th anniversary

The 45th anniversary of The Velvet Underground‘s seminal debut album ‘The Velvet Underground & Nico‘ is to be celebrated with a comprehensive, 6-disc re-release, it has been confirmed today.

Queen’s Brian May, The Who urge government to do more on illegal downloading

High profile members of the music industry including surviving Who members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, Robert Plant and Queen guitarist Brian May have put their names to a letter published today by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) which urges the UK government to do more to curb illegal online downloading.
