Aerosmith have been forced to cancel a show in Virginia tonight after the band’s frontman Steven Tyler apparently fell ill.

Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has told fans the band will commence the recording of their second album ‘some time this year’ after what are expected to be their only live appearances in the UK of 2012 were completed last weekend.

All Is By My Side, the new Jimi Hendrix biopic starring Andre 3000, will feature covers of the likes of The Beatles and Muddy Waters by the Outkast musician after the estate of Jimi Hendrix denied the film any access to his own back catalogue.

Album sales in the UK during the first half of 2012 have fallen dramatically when compared to the same period last year, new figures released today (July 3rd) by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) show.
