Ozzy Osbourne cancels German gig due to ‘vocal issues’

ozzyBlack Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne cancelled one of his Ozzy And Friends live tour dates last night (June 20th), just minutes before he was due to take to the stage.

The Ozzy And Friends tour was organised following the cancellation of the majority of Black Sabbath’s European reunion tour which – barring a low-key gig in Birmingham last month and their recent headline performance at the Download festival – was hastily pulled due to guitarist Tony Iommi‘s cancer diagnosis.

And Ozzy Osbourne was set to perform at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany last night as part of the tour, but left late on in the evening after support band Black Label Society had already completed their set, blaming ‘vocal issues’ for the cancellation.

Fans who were left disappointed at the SAP Arena are now being advised to check with the venue’s website to ensure they receive a full refund for the unexpected postponement of the gig.
