Hot Chip at number one on UK Record Store Chart

Hot Chip have entered at number one on this week’s UK Record Store Album Chart, which is compiled entirely by sales registered at the UK’s independent record stores.

The band are on top with ‘In Our Heads‘, just ahead of Maximo Park‘s ‘The National Health‘, which is also a high new entry at #2.

Elsewhere, Alabama Shakes‘ debut record ‘Boys and Girls‘ continues to sell strongly, climbing one place to #10 this week, while The Tallest Man On Earth‘s latest album ‘There’s No Leaving Now‘ debuts at no.13.
