Bob Dylan has announced his first North American tour dates of 2012 ahead of the expected release of his 35th studio album later this year.
Preceded by a string of European shows over the course of this summer, including a headline appearance at the Hop Farm festival in July, Dylan will begin the North American leg in Lloydminster, Alberta on August 10th, touring right through the month and in to September when the dates are due to be closed at Big Flats, NY on the 1st.
Last month, Dylan fansite Isis Magazine claimed his new album will be released in September, comprising 10 tracks including a 14-minute composition centred around Titanic.
