Blur have revealed the artwork for their new double A-side single which will be premiered via a live Twitter video feed next week.
The tracks ‘Under The Westway‘ and ‘The Puritan‘ are set to be performed live by Blur at a secret London location from 6.15pm on Monday, July 2nd, and will then be available to download immediately after.
The physical single will follow on August 6th, with the artwork now also released to the public (left).
Despite the recording and release of a new single, there is still no indication from Blur as to whether a full length album is also in the works, with frontman Damon Albarn recently merely stating that the tracks were written ‘for Hyde Park’ – where they will appear in August for a special gig to mark the end of the London Olympic Games.
In addition, bassist Alex James also appeared to suggest they have no concrete plans for the future when discussing the single earlier this week.Just Published:
