Bloc Party debut seven new tracks at comeback gig

Bloc Party handed seven new songs their debut last night (June 19th) during the first gig of their comeback UK tour in Glasgow.

Playing their first full show together in over three years, Bloc Party opened the set with ‘3×3‘ and ‘So He Begins To Lie‘ – both of which are expected to appear on their upcoming album ‘Four‘ – and went on to air a further five new tracks along side established favourites such as ‘Helicopter‘ and ‘One More Chance‘.

“It’s been a long time, this has been the most beautiful day I’ve ever experienced in Glasgow,” frontman Kele Okereke told the crowd.

‘Four’ is due for release on August 20th through Frenchkiss Records, and will be supported with further UK dates later this year, beginning at the Newcastle O2 Academy on October 12th.
