Kasabian: ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger works out to our albums’

Kasabian guitarist and songwriter Serge Pizzorno has named Hollywood movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of his band’s more unexpected celebrity fans, revealing the actor ‘works out to one of our albums’.

Givers – ‘Ceiling Of Plankton’

Ebullient Louisiana quintet Givers have announced they’ll be returning to the UK in July to perform at Latitude and Larmer Tree festivals. Coinciding with these dates the band have confirmed the release of live favourite ‘Ceiling of Plankton’ on July 30th.

Review: The Darkness – ‘Everybody Have a Good Time’

Returning from the depths of time and Suffolk, it’s been hard to miss The Darkness thus far in 2012.

A skit of their very own on Funny Or Die, touring jaunts back and forth across the pond, the ‘Hot Cakes‘ record announced and now another raucous, ballsy single to follow the bicycle-obsessed ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us‘ and the salacious ‘Every Inch of You‘.

The Flaming Lips break world record for most gigs in 24 hours

The Flaming Lips have broken Jay-Z‘s world record for the most gigs performed in multiple cities in a 24 hour period after a mammoth run of shows was completed yesterday (June 28th) in New Orleans.
