Video: Liam Gallagher gatecrashes Man City press conference

Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher gatecrashed Manchester City’s press conference last night (April 30th) after seeing his side overcome local rivals Manchester United 1-0 and move closer to their first title since 1968.

Gallagher performed his impromptu press conference before Man City captain and goalscorer Vincent Kompany’s arrival, and told the assembled journalists: “He (Kompany) invited me to his box. He scored a blinder, his family is mega and his sister is really cool. Nice one bro. Vive le Belgium.”

And on Man Utd boss Alex Ferguson, who had a touchline altercation with his Man City counterpart Roberto Mancini, Gallagher said: “He must have been blinded by the lights. He must have been on the whiskey too much.”

Later in the evening, Gallagher posted a picture on his Twitter account of him meeting Argentinian legend Diego Maradona, who had attended the match to watch his son-in-law Sergio Aguero, with the caption: “Maradona shakes the hand of God.”
