Saint Etienne top UK Record Store Album Chart

Saint Etienne‘s eighth studio effort ‘Words and Music‘ has topped this week’s UK Record Store Album Chart.

The chart, which is compiled entirely from sales registered at the UK’s independent record shops, has Beach House‘s ‘Bloom‘ at #2 in its third week on the rundown, while Joe Bonamassa enters at no.3 with ‘Driving Towards The Daylight‘.

Elsewhere, The Cult‘s new album ‘Choice Of Weapon‘ is a new entry inside the top 20 at #15, as is Gaz Coombes‘ maiden solo record, which debuts at #17.
