Guns N Roses kicked off their UK and Ireland tour in Dublin last night (May 17th) with the city’s O2 Arena crowd affording Axl Rose and co. a far warmer reception than when the band last visited in 2010.

Returning to the stage which saw them bottled off after just three songs a couple of years back, Gun N Roses made their entrance well over an hour after scheduled, before launching into a mammoth 21-song, three hour set.

Ahead of set closer and firm fan favourite ‘Paradise City‘, Axl Rose acknowledged the brighter atmosphere being felt on the night, addressing the crowd with: “Thanks for coming out, thanks for putting up with my lame ass and thanks for not throwing shit.”

Guns N Roses’ tour is due to continue at the Nottingham Arena tomorrow (May 19th).
