Biffy Clyro have revealed their forthcoming double album will carry two titles – ‘The Land At The End Of Our Toes‘ and ‘The Sand At The Core Of Our Bones‘.

The Scottish trio have been recording the follow up to their 2009 Mercury-nominated record ‘Only Revolutions‘ in Los Angeles, and drummer Ben Johnston has told NME the band “…don’t want to pigeon hole it as a ‘big rock album’, so we’re trying to make a diverse collection of songs.”

Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil confirmed their intention to record a double album back in January, telling Q Magazine:

“We’re going to make a double album, so the intention is to do most of the recording in LA and then do more of it elsewhere. We’ll hopefully get it done by April, May and go out and play some shows. The album might come out before summer but it’s likely to be just after that.”
