Biffy Clyro drummer Ben Johnston has said the band are hoping to win back fans of their earlier material following the commercial success enjoyed by the Scottish trio since the release of ‘Only Revolutions‘ in 2009.

Beastie Boys‘ Ad-Rock, aka Adam Horovitz, has paid tribute to his bandmate Adam Yauch, saying he is ‘glad to know that all the love that Yauch has put out into the world is coming right back at him’ following the sad news of his death last Friday, (May 4th).

A spokesperson for the Stone Roses has denied claims made on UK radio yesterday (May 6th) that their influential drummer Reni has withdrawn from their reunion plans due to illness.
