Jack White at number one on UK Album Chart

Jack White has gone straight in at number one on the UK Album Chart today with his debut solo record ‘Blunderbuss‘.

The former White Stripes man is expected to have topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic by the end of this week, and has completed the first stage by knocking Adele down to #2.

Elsewhere, Feeder have entered the chart at #13 with their latest record ‘Generation Freakshow‘, and Alabama Shakes‘ ‘Boys and Girls‘ has climbed three places to stand today at no.6.
