Green Day To Release 3 New Albums by January 2013

Green Day’s work ethics will be a tough act to follow. Check out the news just released:

Green Day is currently in the studio recording three albums – a trilogy entitled ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! – that will be released by Reprise Records on Tuesday, September 25th 2012; Tuesday, November 13th 2012 and Tuesday, January 15th 2013 respectively. The albums are the follow-up to the Grammy®Award-winning 21st Century Breakdown, and are being produced by the band’s long-time producer Rob Cavallo. ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! are being recorded in their hometown of Oakland, CA.

Kasabian: ‘We’re going back to our roots and it’s brand new again’

Kasbian’s Tom Meighan thinks it’s great to be playing mid and small sized venues on their US tour and at recent SXSW appearances.

The UK band, who play to huge arena audiences and festivals in Europe, have been away from the USA for five years and are back on the road stateside after landing their third consecutive #1 album in the UK with Velociraptor!

Leonard Cohen Announces One-Off Show in UK

Sept 8th will see Leonard Cohen perform a mammoth 3 hour  set at his only planned UK gig of 2012. The 77 year old Canadian  veteran will appear at the Hop Farm in Kent.

The show will feature classics such as Hallelujah, I’m Your Man and Suzanne as well as tracks from his new album Old Ideas.
