The Who unveil new video for ‘Quadrophenia’ single ‘5.15’

The Who have today unveiled the brand new video for their classic single ‘5.15‘, which has been released to promote ‘The Director’s Cut’ Boxset edition of the 1973 rock opera ‘Quadrophenia‘. The video can be viewed below.

The promo has been made in collaboration with Talenthouse, a company which aims to support artists at every level of their career, as well as being supporters of all the arts, and is the result of an open invitation made last November to animators, filmmakers and fans to submit their own video creation.

The winning video has been directed by Jeff Rodenberg of Minnesota, whose promo is inspired by the 1960s Mod culture so synonymous with The Who. Rodenberg has been awarded $2000 in prize money, a Fender guitar signed by Pete Townshend and the Quadrophenia Director’s Cut Boxset. In addition, four runners-up have also been awarded $250 each.

Quadrophenia: The Director’s Cut’ is out now via Universal Music Catalogue.
