Slash has premiered the first track to be taken from his forthcoming second solo studio album, which can be heard below.
‘You’re a Lie Now‘ is an early taster of ‘Apocalyptic Love‘, which is due for release on May 21st through Slash’s own DikHayd International label.
The follow up to 2010’s self-titled debut, the album will feature Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy on vocals, after the singer previously guested on ‘Back From Cali‘ and ‘Starlight‘ on Slash’s debut solo record and also toured with the iconic guitarist.
In addition to his solo plans, Slash is set to join his former Guns n Roses bandmates in Cleveland next month when the band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. A live performance from the ‘classic’ line-up remains a possibility.
