Radiohead have announced three UK arena dates for later this year, as their 2012 world tour schedule continues to grow.
After a quiet 2011 touring wise following the release of ‘The King Of Limbs‘ in the February of that year, Radiohead’s appetite for life on the road became greater thanks to a special ‘secret’ performance at last summer’s Glastonbury festival, which has resulted in a series of headline and festival appearances around the world being confirmed over recent months.
And now, three UK dates have been rubber-stamped, the first of which is due up at the Manchester Evening News Arena on October 6th. The band will then move on to London’s O2 Arena for two shows on October 8th and 9th. More UK gigs are expected to be confirmed in due course.
Radiohead kicked off their 2012 world tour last week in Miami, handing debuts to two brand new songs – ‘Identikit‘ and ‘Cut A Hole‘ – in the process.
