Mumford & Sons and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes will play short acoustic sets at next week’s South By Southwest festival to celebrate the premiere of their tour film Big Easy Express.

The 67-minute movie documents the unique week-long tour which Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes, Mumford & Sons and Old Crow Medicine Show embarked upon via railroad from San Francisco to New Orleans last spring, and will receive its premiere on Saturday, March 17th at the Austin festival. And now, an additional screening of Big Easy Express on the same day has also been confirmed, which will be held on the fields of Austin High School, with 10,000 tickets distributed to fans who RSVP via MySpace.com/BigEasyExpress.

“The memories from that tour are tattooed on my mind,” Magnetic Zeroes’ Nora Kirkpatrick has told Rolling Stone. “When I first saw the finished film, it reminded me of what radiant moments live performances can create, and how powerful a group of minds can be when focused on the same goal.”
