Miles Kane has been working with the acclaimed dubstep producer Skream on his new EP which will be released for Record Store Day.

Skream, real name Oliver Dene Jones, has been at the centre of the Dubstep scene which rose to chart prominence a few years ago, working with the likes La Roux, Wiley and Bat For Lashes in the process.

And now, Miles Kane has revealed the producer has made a move into the rock world, collaborating with the Liverpool songwriter on his EP ‘First of My Kind’.

“I think it’s healthy,” Kane told XFM. “It’s good working with new people. I love working and not having a barrier and I’m learning things off him and he’s learning things off us. He loves rock n roll as well as what he does. It’s great.”

The ‘First of My Kind’ EP will be released via limited edition vinyl on April 21st as Record Store Day again aims to support local independent music shops across the UK.
