“Jonathan Weinberg, Jessie Clavin, Brian Davila and Renee Adams formed Cold Showers in late summer 2010, (with recent addition of Chris King supporting on guitar). Their pop songs are shaded by darker overtones, offering despairing minimalist lyrics that bring a sense of a bleaker tomorrow, today. The dreamy, angular and sometimes aggressive guitar work, layered with primitive percussion and low flying synthesizers coalesce in a driving darkwave sound. Satisfying influences from Ultravox and Savage Republic to Joy Division, The Pixies and Los Angeles-era X, Cold Showers create the ideal soundtrack to fall in-and-out of love.”

“XFM New Music Award nominees My Preserver have announced the first glimpse of their forthcoming album ‘Revolutions In The Head’ will be a free download of ‘The Green Wash’ this March.”

The Sea are set to follow up their debut album ‘Get It Back’ with the explosive ‘Rooftops’ on May 7th through Lusty Records. Produced by John Cornfield (Oasis, XTC, Muse), the London based two-piece’s second full-length shows a richer pallet of sounds and more varied instrumentation than their debut, but maintains their melodic and powerful edge that permeates through the songwriting. Infectious choruses, bounding melodies and charming lyrics are the order of the day on ‘Rooftops’ as brothers as Peter and Alex D’Chisholme play their hearts out over ten songs.”

“Currently tantalising taste buds with their hotpot of cabaret and party-ready flavours, Norwegian quartet Katzenjammer release new single ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors’ on May 7th. Co-written by Katzenjammer and Robert Ellis Orral and produced by Mike Hartung and Kåre Chr. Vestrheim in Oslo, it’s a song which reels you in hook, line and sinker and leaves you gasping for more. A gutsy, below deck fiddle jig, it gives the banjo and the mandolin a good airing and is undeniably Katzenjammer.”

“Los Angeles modern rockers Attaloss are releasing their self-titled album on April 10, 2012, via Rock Ridge Music/Warner Music Group/ADA. Their new record showcases two sides of the band, the high energy blown out rock side and the stripped down acoustic side.
