While currently serving as the de-facto mayor of the Nashville music scene, White tabbed these guys for a set of 7-inch singles on Third Man records and the group has been off and running since. Mixing the up-tempo angst of early punk rock with the balls-to-the-wall swagger of Tennessee garage, Pujol has earned spots alongside fellow riff-raffers like Dr. Dog, the Coathangers, and Thee Oh Sees. If you missed out on last year’s ‘Nasty Brutish & Short’ EP on Saddle Creek, then just be ready when their proper debut drops in the upcoming months.
