Blues legend Joe Bonamassa will kick off his UK tour this week to coincide with the release of his new concert film Beacon Theatre – Live From New York on Blu-ray and DVD.
Bonamassa will launch the tour tomorrow (March 23rd) at the sold out Brighton Centre, moving on to the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena a day later. A first show in April is due at the Nottingham Capital FM Arena on the 2nd, with another sold out gig at the Blackpool Opera House on April 5th set to close the tour.
The Beacon Theatre – Live from New York film will be released on March 26th, and is the follow up to 2009’s Live from the Royal Albert Hall which featured an appearance from Eric Clapton. The latest DVD sees Bonamassa joined onstage by special guests Paul Rogers, Beth Hart and John Hiatt.
