Bruce Springsteen heading for number one on UK Album Chart

Bruce Springsteen is well placed to top the UK Album Chart this Sunday (March 11th), midweek figures released today show.

The Boss is just ahead of the Military Wives, who were last year’s Christmas Number One, with his latest record ‘Wrecking Ball‘, while last week’s chart topper, Emeli Sande, is at the moment down to #3.

Elsewhere, Dry The River‘s debut ‘Shallow Bed‘ is on course to debut inside the top 20, standing today at no.14, Florence & The Machine‘s ‘Ceremonials‘ is at #15, and Noel Gallagher‘s debut solo album ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ is down to #17.
