Bestival organiser has third headliner signed up

neworder11Bestival organiser Rob Da Bank has said the event’s third headliner for 2012 is secured, but he will not be revealing the act in question for a while yet.

Speaking to NME, Rob Da Bank said some fans have already correctly guessed the identity of his final bill topper, but refused to go into any concrete details.

“The third headliner is done and dusted, but we’re going to wait a while to announce them,” he said. There’s quite a lot of people who’ve guessed right about who it is on our message boards, but I won’t say anymore than that.”

“I’m quite selfish with the acts that I book. I book acts that I would like to see and hope everyone else wants to see them too. I like to keep things diverse and I think there’s quite a lot of people who have similar tastes to mine. Hip-hop, pop, drum n’bass, rock, I’ll have it all. I’m not fussy.”

This year’s Latitude will take place on the Isle Of Wight between September 6th-9th, with Stevie Wonder and New Order making up two of the three headliners.
