The annual Y-Not festival has announced its first round of confirmed acts today, with indie-pop types The Wombats, The Pigeon Detectives and The Subways leading the way.
The three day event, which will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire this summer, has also confirmed bands such as Summer Camp, Brontide and Boat To Row on its 2012 bill.
The Y-Not festival, which has grown from humble beginnings since its initiation in 2006, will play host to three stages this year between August 3rd-5th, and last year was headlined by Maximo Park, The Go! Team and Feeder, while the event’s Quarry stage was topped by Jamie Woon, Beardyman and Art Brut.
