The Dandy Warhols to release new album in April


dandywarholsThe Dandy Warhols have today confirmed the release date and tracklisting of their forthcoming new album.

The band, famed in the UK for the hit single ‘Bohemian Like You‘, will issue ‘This Machine‘, their eighth studio album, on April 24th.




The LP was recorded in the band’s multi-functional studio The Odditorium during the course of 2011 with their long-term producer Jeremy Sherrer. Frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor has described the new albums as ‘stripped down, woody and extremely guitar centric’.

The record has been mixed by Tchad Blake, who has previously worked on ‘The Dandy Warhols Odditorium or Warlords of Mars and Come Down‘. Tchad has also collaborated on albums with the likes of The Black Keys, Blitzen Trapper and Pearl Jam.

‘This Machine’s artwork, which can be viewed on the left, has been designed by the Portland, Oregon painter Hickory Mertsching.
