The Cribs have released the details of their upcoming fifth studio album.
Entitled ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull‘, the record will be released on May 7th and is to comprise 14 new tracks which have been worked on in New York, Chicago and London, primarily with MGMT cohort David Fridmann.
The LP will be The Cribs’ first as a three-piece since 2007’s ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever‘ after the brothers recorded and toured with Johnny Marr between 2008 and 2011, when the album ‘Ignore The Ignorant‘ was released.
Earlier today, The Cribs unveiled details of a UK tour whose opening date in Nottingham will directly coincide with the new album’s release. Dates in London, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Eastbourne are also booked.
