Noel Gallagher and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin are planning on performing together at the Brit Awards later this month, according to the ceremony’s host James Corden.
Corden apparently let the plans slip during an interview with BBC Radio 2, when he revealed Martin is set to accompany Noel Gallagher on the piano when the former Oasis guitarist plays live at the event.
“I think – and I don’t know if this is true and I’m almost certain that I’m not supposed to tell you – that Chris Martin is going to accompany Noel Gallagher on the piano,” Corden told the station.
Noel Gallagher has been nominated for the British Male prize at this year’s Brit Awards, while Coldplay are up for British Album and British Group along with the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Elbow and Chase & Status.
The ceremony will be held for a second year at the O2 Arena in London on February 21st.
