The twin 12″ EPs will feature remixed versions of tracks which comprised the ‘Covers’ release, with the likes of Toby Tobias and David Maloso contributing to the CD.
Franz Ferdinand confirmed their first festival appearance for 2012 late last year amidst suggestions they could release a new album sometime this year after guitarist Nick McCarthy told the Daily Record they are ‘thinking of doing something again after a bit of a sabbatical’. The band have been confirmed on the line-up for the 2012 Primavera Sound festival, which is to be held from May 30th-June 3rd in Barcelona, Spain.
