Rock trio Band Of Skulls could land a place inside the top 10 of the UK Album Chart this weekend, according to midweek figures released today.

Band Of Skulls currently stand at #6 on the midweeks with their second record ‘Sweet Sour‘, and will be hoping sales hold up during the remainder of the week as various other albums embark on a climb following last night’s Brit Awards.

Of those who featured prominently at the ceremony, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Noel Gallagher and Florence & The Machine have all seen their records rise on the chart when compared to last week, while sales of Blur‘s Best Of collection today have already been enough to see it re-enter the UK top 40.

The official chart will confirmed this Sunday, February 26th.

UK Midweek Chart, Top 10:

1/ Emeli Sande – ‘Our Version Of Events’
2/ Adele – ’21′
3/ Lana Del Rey – ‘Born To Die’
4/ Ed Sheeran – ‘+’
5/ Gotye – ‘Making Mirrors’
6/ Band Of Skulls – ‘Sweet Sour’
7/ Maverick Sabre – ‘Lonely Are The Brave’
8/ Adele – ’19′
9/ Jessie J – ‘Who You Are’
10/ Coldplay – ‘Mylo Xyloto’
