Arcade Fire pen brand new song for film soundtrack

Arcade Fire have recorded their first post-‘Suburbs‘ song for a new film soundtrack.

The Canadian band have contributed the track ‘Abraham’s Daughter‘ to the soundtrack for the new fantasy movie The Hunger Games. The film itself will also feature the Win Butler/Regine Chassagne-penned composition ‘Horn Of Plenty‘. The likes of Taylor Swift, The Decemberists, Kid Cudi and The Low Anthem have also offered tracks to the soundtrack.




The Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banksset, and is due for release in the UK on March 23rd.
