Pulp have added further US dates, and a Spanish gig, to their 2012 tour itinerary.
After their series of 2011 reunion shows were rounded off at the Electric Picnic festival in Ireland last September with frontman Jarvis Cocker telling the assembled crowd that ‘this maybe the last time we’re ever all on stage together’, it seemed the classic Pulp line-up were ready to step back into the shadows after a clutch of acclaimed festival and headline appearances last year, which included stops at the Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight and Reading/Leeds events.
However, earlier this month the Sheffield band unveiled more plans for 2012, and were confirmed on the bill for April’s Coachella festival. And Pulp have now added two more US dates, at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on April 11th, and San Francisco’s Warfield on April 17th, to those twin Coachella gigs.
In addition, they will then move on to Spain’s SOS festival for a concert there on May 4th.
