A press conference to promote the release of Paul McCartney‘s new album ‘Kisses On The Bottom‘ will be streamed live on the former Beatles legend’s official website from 4pm (GMT) today (January 19th).

The exclusive behind the scenes broadcast will feature Sir Paul taking questions from the world’s media for half an hour, and will also offer fans the chance of putting their own questions to him via email, though just one question from those submitted will be presented to McCartney.

‘Kisses On The Bottom’ will consist primarily of covers which Paul McCartney has said inspired him during his childhood, and features guest appearances from Stevie Wonder and Eric Clapton.

When unveiling the LP late last year, McCartney said: “I always thought artists like Fred Astaire were very cool. Writers like Harold Arlen, Cole Porter, all of those guys – I just thought the songs were magical. And then, as I got to be a songwriter I thought it’s beautiful, the way they made those songs.”

The album will be released on February 6th in the UK and Feb 7th in the US.
