Miles Kane, Beady Eye, Noel Gallagher up for XFM New Music Award 2012

Records released in the past year by the likes of Miles Kane, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher have been nominated for XFM’s New Music Award 2012 which aims to find the best British debut album of the past twelve months.

A panel of judges which includes Peter Hook, The CharlatansTim Burgess and The Sun’s showbiz editor Gordon Smart, will pick their winner from a shortlist which also features James Blake, Chapel Club, Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran amongst others.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony at the HMV Ritz in Manchester on February 8th.
